So it's only been a week of native Apple Music, but like a lot of folks, I am loving it.
A little background information, I have been using Apple Music under a variety of names for the better part of a decade. I use a series of smart playlists and AppleScripts to generate curated playlists that update daily by removing recently played tracks and adding less frequently played tracks. This way I have a better chance of hearing a wider selection of my library of over 50,000 songs. This works pretty reliably on my Apple Devices, and even works fairly well on my Amazon Echo devices.
After only a couple of days, I have realized that the Rivian does not sync to the cloud on a daily or even a weekly basis, so my playlists are not refreshing. I can literally pull up the same playlist on both the Rivian and my iPhone and see that the contents are completely different. I don't know if this is a bug, an oversight, or it's by design to minimize traffic, but I sure hope that there is some form of Cloud Sync and that it's cycle can be improved over time. In fact, so far, the only way I have been able to get my library to re-sync is to completely sign out and back in again.
If anyone from Rivian sees this, please consider this a request for more reliable cloud sync.
