hi folks -

i'm swapping from 20" AT wheels/tires to 22" summer tires on my R1T tri-motor. SC suggested a 4-wheel alignment. does this seem required? anyone else have two sets and swap back and forth? i'd really like to have one alignment that works across both sets (33" and 34" tires)

Only if your old tires showed accelerated or uneven wear. Tire diameter shouldn't matter.

Yah, not standard to do it unless there are signs that you are out of alignment.

Last time I was in for service (March maybe) I mentioned my steering wheel was shaking. So they did a free alignment. The only bad part was I had twraps on my 22” polished rims to black them out and the alignment machine chewed them up a bit. But it was free so I couldn’t complain too much. Ended up getting new ones that are matte black and I love them!!

I went from 22 to 20 years ago and never did an alignment and have had no wear issues.
