One of the things we wanted to do when designing the Adventure Kitchen for the R1S is make sure you kept as much functionality for the vehicle as possible. That's why we snuck it in behind the third row. That's also why we designed it to tip back to allow access to the cargo space that could hold your spare -- if they ever show up in the gear shop ;-)
The kitchen features gas shocks that assist in lifting the kitchen up and out of the way to reveal your storage space. When you're done, just push the unit down and then sucure it down with the provided latch.
