After installing 2024.51.01 software and plugging in my Tesla Wallcharger with A2Z adapter, I noticed my '23 R1T change rate dropped 50% from 9pm to about 3pm, then it went to 9kwh. In 8 months of owning this truck, it's never done that before. My garage is also heated to 60 degrees, so it's not temperature related.

Last night my R1T was upgraded to 2024.51.02. So we'll see what happens on the next charge.

Did not see that on 53.01 and 53.02. On mine it went straight to 10kW charging at midnight.

I've noticed something similar, that when I charge at home using my Rivian Wall Charger, lately there's a period after first plugging in (anywhere from 15 - 60 minutes) where it's charging at about 50% of my expected rate. At the risk of getting reprimanded by the purists, I'll describe this in miles-added-per-hour: I usually expect to get 11-12 miles added per hour, but during this initial period, I'm getting 6 +/-.

The first time this happened, I was in kinda' a critical situation (had an airport run in the morning and already knew I was not going to get to the desired SOC) so I unplugged, drove around for 10 minutes to see if creating some battery activity would change things, and when I returned home and plugged in again, I started getting my "normal" rate in a few minutes. I'm not sure whether or not my little drive made a difference.

Since then, I've noticed this happening three or four more times, and it could be more than that, because most of the time I don't really check my charging speed because I'm just leaving it plugged in overnight.

Weird charging issue also night before vehicle didn't charge while plugged in ..down to 20 percent went to a v3 Tesla SC and couldn't get past 20kw/hr and bounced all over the place, up to 160 down to 9..battery did precondition. Ended up removing the charger and adapter and tried again same results, stoped charging.. Hard reset via left wheel and emergency button...rebooted started the recharge and everything came back to normal. Not sure if the cold/snow in MI is impacting mileage but been having 1.1 to 1.3 mi/KwH for first 45 mins of driving 110 round trip used approx 65 percent of the battery even thought battery temp was in the 70's.

Also I do notice lag in the infotainment system now since the update...

Did your motor temps jump up into the yellow/orange indicator zone?

No idea didn't look, it was 25 degrees out and snowing...there was about .2" of ice across the front of the car, I have 3-4 sensor warnings also for front collision and others. Wasn't a great drive home the usual hour drive was 2 hrs. R1S even suggested to stop and charge just to make sure I made it home with some room to spare. I am going to watch it and go from there see if there is a repeat today. Vehucle sis charge over night with no issues, also every super charge was taken which I have seen a SC limit charging. Not sure why this was deemed an update seems more like a bug fix to me that anything else
