In order for me to run that ET, I needed a full certified roll cage, firesuit, parachute, fire system, and a NHRA Super Gas license.
Times are a changin'.

Snooze.
going around the ring doesn’t matter.
Neither does a straight line to be honest. Ring provides at least a benchmark of handling vs other brands. I do think the average Tesla Driver would not want ring tuned suspension but would be a nice option for us people who frequent the race track and care to do so in a EV.

What’s matters to me is fast cars on the street. Where I drive them. When at the track, I drove my race car. Porsche.
on the street nothing beats a Tesla.

Well I don't race on the street because it's silly. I race on a track hence would be nice to know how a EV fairs at the ring or any track it would be racing at â˜ș, not saying it can't be both but why not eh?

Times a changing.

Not quite on your level with my Model 3 Performance, but its a rare day that I can’t run with something off the light. And truth it never gets old!

Cool, his frequent travels to the service center will be 17 second faster!

On a serious note though, that is sick and slick, mainly to burn those annoying civics with lame bumpers and fake exhaust sounds.

just trying to help as the rest of us transition to EV’s.
I am not kidding about this but I saw a YouTube video yesterday in which the presenter, with dead serious demeanor throughout, explained that transitioning to a BEV was like transitioning to an electronic toilet. It is, he said, a weird sensation at first but once you get used to it you never want to go back.

Tesla's Order Page for the Plaid (there will be no Plaid+) says 9.23@155mph now. At $130k, it cost what my 2010 Corvette ZR1 did. While the Vette might be more fun, the MS is more practical yet has even more acceleration.
