Drove the R1T up the Kingston Peak Trail

I thought I’d share a few photos from the Kingston Peak trail in CO this weekend. I’m not much of an off-roader but it was fun and not too challenging in the R1T. We aired down to 35 PSI, it was a nice drive and we didn’t really see anyone else on the trail (we left pretty early).

A great spot for sure! The official Rivian press tour I went on last year wasn't far from here—just a bit further west in Montezuma. Beautiful area!

Yep, very pretty area. Funny I have been on James and Bancroft plenty of times (mostly in spring) but never noticed this road.

Great photos! I'm close by to Kingston and have been wanting to take the Rivian up top. I've been there many times in the past on motos or other 4x4's, but it's been a while.

What kind of condition is the trail in?

They are the 20” wheels, pirelli tires.

What kind of condition is the trail in?

I can’t compare it to any previous experiences, but it was pretty straightforward. There are some pretty big rocks on the climb up the east side, was cool to see how big of a rock the rivian can clear without concern. A few spots you had to pick a line but most of it just drive forward.
