The R2 might just kick off a real off-road aftermarket boom! You can practically hear those coil springs begging to be swapped out for a lift kit!

RJ Replied back in the thread to someone calling out the same thing: "This is a development vehicle - production performance variant has yellow calipers all around :)"

Guess this indirectly confirms some type of performance based variant (tri-motor?) of the R2 is planned...

Then it’s a Tri (high-trim with ride quality adjustment). Tri was always among product plan, mentioned at concept reveal over a year ago at Laguna Beach. I would expect Tri production will be prioritized over lower trims. Profit margin is better on high trim.

Depends on software and how much they limit power delivery. Smaller platform and likely fewer cells than R1. They might limit power in order to hit a range target. These are also not the same in-house motors in the R1 Tri.
