It’s not just about looks—we ran CFD simulations to understand what makes a rooftop tent truly aerodynamic. With only one-third the drag force of competing models, the result is minimal EV range loss, improved fuel efficiency, and significantly reduced wind noise.

Thanks for the guide its shows good detail on how to mount to a set of crossbars but no details at all on how to mount onto a platform rack. I am guessing you would put some 90 degree angle brackets on the slots under the tent and connect to the crossbars of the rack which would be hard to reach with the tent on top of the rack. Can you show pics of how you mounted the tent on the Rivian in your marketing photos? Or was that just a photoshop mounting ?

Looks to me that you would mount the included mounting bars to bottom of tent, slide bolts through slot in these bars. These bolts would then be situated in pairs perpendicular to your factory or aftermarket crossbars and secured with the silver brackets and nuts.

That would add an extra inch to the height of the tent which kind of defeats the purpose of being the slimiest tent and probably make it too tall to get into my garage. An inch gap would still make it very hard to access the mounting bolts. Maybe that is why they have big holes on the side of the mars rack to get access to the mounting gear?

There are mounting bars on the bottom of the rooftop tent. Slide the T-bolts into these bars and tighten them to clamp onto the Rivian crossbars. You don’t bolt the tent directly to the cargo crossbars.
