I think this is great, no matter the inventory reality (i.e., if sales have indeed collapsed).

People who are new to EVs and such a tech-forward platform (like Rivian) need more time than a 30-minute demo can provide. Take one home, see how it feels in the driveway, drive it to dinner, and wake up having gotten to know it and feel more comfortable in a new space that could become your lived reality.

Really good idea. Same here - haven’t seen any newly purchased Rivians in the Bay Area in maybe 2 months. Need to get cars moving.

I‘m still seeing temporary plates on Rivians here in CO when I go out, but this is a great idea regardless.

We had a Rivian space open up in the north suburbs here (Chicago area) last Fall I think. The city space had been open forever, maybe since the release, and it was only about 10 miles away. But sales boomed in my area after the local opening.

On the one hand, I expect there are many markets that might still see similar increases. On the other, I do wonder how quickly a local market peaks, then reaches saturation.
