I'm curious how that works, typically when you route to a charger, it preconditions technically in a way that's more efficient and takes the time of arrival into account.

With manual preconditioning, is it just going full out on the system to get to that fast charge ready state within 10-15 minutes?

That's not at all how I took it. I didn't set any recent quotes by Wassym about it, only a reference by the author to an old article.

Good question. I would assume it has to be timed as you suggested. I can’t imagine it working any other way

To be honest, these days the reliability in any article is shoddy at best. I tend to fall on the hopeful/positive of any ambiguous statements when I read them.
