I don’t think any of these videos we’ve seen are pulling out fully loaded trailers. That will require the big tow rig to free it up. Good on you for trying!

Matts Rope/Yank-Em rope, pulled from the front end, would have got em out... Maybe. Your biggest issue is the wet ground to maintain traction..

Definitely a better chance from the tow hooks and reversing. And a better anchor point on the semi.

I would agree the weight of a loaded trailer on wet concrete is a solid no go. I still like the story

Ken has a Rivian R1T Quad Motor with 1,198 lb-ft of torque and over 1,000 hp.

Looks like they just pulled the Gen2 numbers off the internet for that article?

I think the receiver is going to be stronger than the hooks and towing backwards is more hazardous. If something lets loose like their hook or bumper it could kill anyone sitting in the front of the rivian. In general using high forces on the coast side of gears is not a good idea. Differentials especially don't like that and even the rivian has a 10 to 1 reduction gearbox(s).
