HVAC has been possessed since the early days.

I have had several updates where it worked slightly better, but generally I’m just pre heating the cabin, then setting the heat at 72 and on low fan.

never thought I’d miss the archaic knobs in my tundra.

Me too...G1 and it has plenty of heat....

The Owl Hoot will be a welcomed permanent locking signal. I never cared for the bird chirp.

Glad to have the Owl return. Aging males lose high frequency hearing and the bird chirp was tough for me to hear. Women lose low frequency hearing first so the chirp may have been fine for them. Personally I think men lose high frequency so they don't have to listen to their wives, and women lose low frequency so they don't hear their husbands. Makes sense to me anyway.

I'm almost considering switching back to Spotify because at least the voice control worked. I hate having to type or scroll for music when this stuff should be hands free. I thought they would have had this fixed within a few updates of integrating Apple Music but kind of disappointing that it hasn't even been addressed. Also the quirks of Apple Music randomly dropping song quality make it tough.

I have found that turning off the back vents causes the front to turn cold and keeping back on keeps the fonts warm.

I chatted with Wassym over a year and a half ago about the owl and tying it to time of day. Glad to see the feature. Hope update also resolve sluggishness of UI since last OTA. IMO, nothing to be disappointed about. One foot ahead of another. Regardless of pace, we're moving forward. When was the last time the Ioniq 5 got an OTA with new features? Could be even worse, ask any Fisker Ocean owner.

I hope it fixes the heat and AC. Unless I set it to 60 or lo, I get no cold air or freeze. The opposite applies for heat. It has to almost be at max or no heat and then I roast. Set it anywhere any between and basically nothing but fan. It is basically almost binary for either full hot or full cold. I didn't need much AC or heat the past 2 weeks and it has actually been nice in the truck.
