22" Sport Dark wheels photos?

Has there been any pics of the 22" Sport Dark? I can't remember seeing it anywhere other than the configurator.

ya, I kinda have the same reaction. The size of the wheel in black looks like a giant black hole. Curious what they look like in real life.

Immediately realized the Sport Bright 22”’s on the SUV look better than black IMO, more definition with the thin silver line. I’m trying to run both the AT 20’s and 22’s on SUV. CS chat says they aren’t selling extra wheels which made me laugh. I asked chat what would happen if you break or bend a wheel, they would have to sell extra wheels. Her reply was “mobile service would come to you and determine what is best”. Lol! I just laughed and ended chat.

Sidewalls on the 22‘s are not that small. They are 5.4 inches, that is .2 inches taller than the 20’s on a Jeep Grand Cherokee that comes in at 5.2 inches.

The 20’s on the Rivian are 7.04 inches about 1.64 inches taller than the 22s 21’s are 5.95 inches.

I'm sure many realize it, but IMO the $3500 or so price for the black wheels are completely unreasonable even for "dealer costs". Since they are the same wheel, you can powdercoat them for significantly less (and you have an almost unlimited choice of colors).

I understand you have to remove the wheel, unmount the tire, powdercoat, be without wheels for a few days, then remount everything and time is money. For $1-2K more sure I get it. For $3500, definitely not.

I like how the black is two-tone. Nevertheless, I don't think the 22's look quite right on the R1T. It's my theory that certain configurator options were were chosen because they look good on the R1S and others for the R1T. Mixing and matching can lead to some weird results.

IMHO the 22's look best on the R1S, together with Forest Green, among other options.
