It's finally happened, I found some Ram 2363 wheels for a reasonable price! I'm picking up tomorrow and taking them to a local powdercoating shop to get blasted and painted satin black.

Edit: updated prices and picked some tires!

Wheels: $150
Sandblast/Powdercoat: $550
TPMS: $107
Center cap: $25
Hub centric rings: $15
Falken Wildpeak A/T3W 275/60R20: $1107
Mount/Balance: $116
TOTAL: $2070

I bought the TPMS sensor programmer and plan on keeping it for at least a year, so if anyone needs it, PM me and we can arrange pickup or shipping. It fits in a small flat rate box, so round-trip shipping is $20.

Thanks to @SeaGeo for previously posting this:

These hankooks ipike X are what I plan to get on our R1S this winter. They are 275 60r20 and 116T. General grabber also has a winter tire in that size IIRC. Les Schwab has these in stock but for like $50 more per tire. Discount doesn't currently seem to have them.

Yokohama has a winter tire with the 116 load index in that size as well.

Last year I for the Nokians Hakapelitta LT3, which performed well obviously, but they are LT's and this weigh a fair amount more. They're also about $100 more per tire. Plenty of LTs available, but I think the efficiency hit was more than I initially observed. No luck finding a winter 116 in the 275/65 size yet.

Thanks!

I looked at the Hankook Winter iPike X as well, but read they get stiff and wear out sooner in the PNW since they're a true cold icy winter tire. Our temperate damp winters in the 30s-40s make it hard to find something that'll do well tackling street ice and mountain snow part-time, but living downhill most of the time.

Thanks @Riviot for the details. Have 21”all seasons and will do the same as you and get Ram wheels and 20” snows. Have used Tirerack for years, but after a quick glance like what I see of simpletire.

Those with 21s or 22s can use the 275/60/20 tires with the ram wheels, but if you had 20s already, I’d stick with 275/65/20 winter tires (if they exist). Having the speedometer be 3-4 mph off would drive me nuts.

im happy with my dodge wheels, I put highway tires on my Rivian wheels and the ATs on the dodge wheels. Was a good idea since I scratched one on the trail last week

Damn it, man! You've got me liking the idea of Falken Wildpeak AT3W more and more. After a slippery back roads drive last weekend on the AS+3s, it would be nice to have ATs ready when I want them. X-Ice and Wildpeak both meet winter needs, but do I go with range or off-road flexibility?

Can always have 3 sets of wheels/tires: highway, snow, and AT.:champagne:

I told you those 275/60/20 Wildpeaks are the way to go!!! And those Ram 2363 wheels were my first off-road wheel choice, but I couldn't ever find them for a reasonable price. Ended up getting the ones I have for cheaper than what used Ram 2363 wheels would have cost me. I assume people like you @Puttyandnapalm found those wheels pretty cheap. All-in-all...this is a great low-cost, off-road setup!

I followed that post above for my set of dodge wheels, but I will add that tpms247 wasn’t the most reliable.
I bought a programmer detailed here.

FYI to all: These are the sensors that I picked up for these wheels. The truck picked them up and registered them after about 20 miles of driving...no programming needed: BH SENS 433MHz OE Quality TPMS Sensor for Rivian https://a.co/d/eHkZOTI

I'm looking for advice on winter tires: is there a season to buy? Am I too early? I can't find many 275/6x/20 options. I'm willing to go 65 or 60.

Wheels: $150
Sandblast/Powdercoat: $500
TPMS: $107
Center cap: $25
Hub centric rings: $15
Michelin X-Ice Snow tires in 275/60/20: $1148
Mount/Balance: $100
TOTAL: $2045

What puzzles me is the 2363 wheels I see are showing 19.5mm offset. Kind of all of them. Am I missing something?

Correct, but not enough to interfere with calipers. The overhang is slight. Someone else has a pic of it, barely noticeable.

All I know is someone smarter than me did this and it's working well. I've seen a couple in person and really like them. Mine are in the bed now and headed to the shop! Now, what tires to get...

FULL SEND AT WHEEL SET! @909phillyman convinced me, so I pulled the trigger and got the Wildpeaks. I found them shipped and sold by Amazon so I used my tax-exempt business account and saved $100!

Hopefully my wife gets the R1S before Christmas and we can make that the longer road trip rig with some winter tires. Or Rivian gets its RAN sh*t together and opens St. Regis!

Sorry, I meant to say - everybody talking about 2363 wheels as 18 offset wheels. While I see that when somebody sells them 19.05mm is mentioned.

So the question - are these the same 2363 wheels you were talking about or not...

Got a link? They're either not 2363 or they have the wrong info. That pic of yours says year: 2002 which is suspicious. You want the 2009-2012 set.
