It's finally happened, I found some Ram 2363 wheels for a reasonable price! I'm picking up tomorrow and taking them to a local powdercoating shop to get blasted and painted satin black.
Edit: updated prices and picked some tires!
Wheels: $150
Sandblast/Powdercoat: $550
TPMS: $107
Center cap: $25
Hub centric rings: $15
Falken Wildpeak A/T3W 275/60R20: $1107
Mount/Balance: $116
TOTAL: $2070
I bought the TPMS sensor programmer and plan on keeping it for at least a year, so if anyone needs it, PM me and we can arrange pickup or shipping. It fits in a small flat rate box, so round-trip shipping is $20.
Update: These TPMS sensors have successfully been used by other members without any programming needed, https://a.co/d/gV1P2dE
Thanks to @SeaGeo for previously posting this:
Step 1: Get some cheap wheels
Step 2: Strip and prime
Step 3: Spray in satin black (only acceptable finish/color)
Step 4: Take new tires to be mounted a week later because Amazon/Simple Tire took a while to correct your order after sending half of the wrong size ?
Step 5: Clone the sensors with the Smart Sensor Pro+ TPMS sensor programmer.
Step 6: Come home a happy camper and patiently wait for winter!
Step 7: Install at winter and hit the trails
Step 8: Find another cheap set of wheels and a good deal on tires, get addicted to the project, and start it again!
