It is odd you say that, I might be as well but it is also warmer. What kind of numbers are you seeing? What sort of mpk readings if you track that?

I don’t keep close track but do know that k routinely use 5-6% to get to work and yesterday used 3. Maybe it’s the BMS recalibrating

Dear Rivian, please don’t change the suspension after this update, it feels amazing now! I have seen an increase in efficiency as well.

Sport lowest is the same AP is night and day difference
Dude. Sport is level 6. I mean, holy guacamole. I can mash the go pedal in All Purpose, and then change it to Sport and it is like I have changed trucks. When I floor it in Sport my eyes press against the back of my skull. LOL. It is so much faster than 99.9% of everything on the road.

This is clearly one of the best, if not the best, update I've received to date. When I bought my truck it was behind about 4 updates last October. So I had the unique experience of quickly (over about a 4-6 weeks), living through 5 updates as by the time I was almost caught up a new dropped.

TL;DR - significant improvement in the lower ride settings, might be the best update I've seen from Rivian, and the truck launches better.

So, it was very interesting to see and feel the difference in the progress of the truck in a short period of time—sort of like a time-lapse video.

The suspension changes are even more noticeable after driving it for several days. I am normally in low or lowest because I use sport a lot. What a profound difference. Lowest rides better than low did and doesn't punish the truck. The culvert I have to drive through leaving my street that always twisted the truck, is just absorbed now. It isn't quite a night and day difference but it is huge.

There are some wicked expansion joints on the freeways here. They go at an angle sometimes, as they are doing road construction and rerouting lanes, so I've hit a lot of them at an angle. They were brutal before unless I was at standard height. I was on the freeway for 10 miles before I realized I was still in low, as I hadn't been pounded by them yet. Kudos to Rivian! Nicely done.

I noticed a side benefit - launches. I ran a modded Charger SRT Hellcat. I was at a gas station and saw a kid filling up his Charger with race gas so I went over to talk to him. He and has dad had done some work and he said it was pretty quick. I followed as he left, and indeed it was pretty quick. I pulled alongside him at the next light and complimented his car. It looked and sound great.

I told him he shouldn't run any EV cars with it, and he said, yeah, they are really quick, but he was confident in his car. His first pass at the track was high 10's, and they were dialing it in since then. I was thinking I might have brought a knife to a gun fight.

He asked if my truck was electric, as he hadn't seen it when I was talking to him earlier. I said yes, and he said his dad wanted to buy a Cybertruck. He didn't know what a Rivian was. I asked if he just wanted to do a quick run for fun and he said yes.

Light went green and to be kind I gave him the hit. I don't think my truck has ever hooked so well on the street. TC was off and almost no wheel spin at launch. It just dug in and launched really hard. I normally get secondary wheelspin at the front at about 35 mph today. That was barely noticeable.

The kid made a hasty exit at the next light and I don't know who was more shocked about the outcome, the kid or me. I think it was the guy behind us both who rolled up beside me at the next light and rolled down his window. He said holy Schlitz that thing is quick. You pulled him by 2 or 3 car lengths.

I don't know if it is all the suspension's doing or my Goodyear Territory ATs are well broken in now, but it felt like one of my quickest 0-60 passes ever. It just hooked and left hard.

Overall, this is one of the updates that I'll enjoy the most on a daily basis with my truck. Still waiting on Gen 1 launch mode though...

Noticed this yesterday. Battery has been cold a lot this winter and I've never seen the snowflake before.

Unfortunately I had a failed test of the updated GearGuard this morning. My R1S was hit by a car trying to park next to it. There's a large dent and scratches to the driver side quarter panel.

I have a RoadCam/DriveStream video that cuts off a few seconds before the hit while she was starting to take a bad angle but hadn't actually hit anything. I have the GearGuard incident of the woman and me walking up to my car to see the damage. No video of the actual hit. So... it absolutely failed to catch the object getting close...

Ironically, I started to reply to your comment with “same here” when the update notification popped up on my phone. 😲

After this update my YouTube and Chromcast now says it’s getting digital rights keys. Hasn’t worked since I updated last week and resetting the vehicle per service call didn’t work. Now they want me to bring it to the service center to fix this for June. 😐

No update here either. My Connect+ ended on April 13th, but it still didn't push the update between 8th and 13th. That's not great.

Suspension is smooth in soft on the Gen 1 R1S through a rough parking lot nearby. Tomorrow I'll test it over some angled train tracks that usually shakes the whole truck back and forth. Go chime worked ok and glad they implemented it for Gen 1.
I found exactly the same thing, the ride quality noticeably improved in normal and soft on my 2023 R1S.
