Where? Rear Accessory Mode just turns off the rear parking sensors. Once you plug into the trailer adaptor for lights or power, the vehicle immediately turns off Driver+ functionality regardless of what you have plugged in.

Since my first backup camera (2005 Acura MDX IIRC), I've made it a habit of walking past the rear of the vehicle and running my thumb over the camera lens each time I park it if the car is dirty. It's served me well because the only time I "need" the camera is when backing out of a parking space and then it's always clean.

Lick your thumb before doing so…to help remove the grime.

The guy who picked up a “gen 2” R1 on another thread said he has the new software - so even if it’s still in beta, they’re making deliveries with it. Wonder if Gen 2 needs that update for some reason…

I can wait another week or so. I waited 2+ years for my R1!
