That is wild. I've consistently been on day 2. Now watch this jinx my chances this time.Yes, it can be. They release to everyone in batches. I've been in the first batch, and other times I've waited several weeks.

I would hope its not waiting for others to download. If so, there should be a window. 4 hours and you wait till next day etc. Many people are sitting on this waiting for days to make sure there isn't some sort of problem. Not sure how the rollout goes, but time or by installs, but if it's installs that's the issue. Lots of downloads not installed and once they are more downloads start.
It's a small subset watching this on Electra Fi and could be nonsense as it could just be a certain amount of vehicles per day can download and doesn't wait for previous group to finish.
Who knows, but I would think Rivian wants this out to everyone to generate some buzz from the community. Especially the suspension upgrade, which feels like it may move the current camp from it sucks to it's better now.
That is usually the way I do it......when I am notified.I wish we can initiate/request it from our app or the vehicle - need Update Now icon![]()
I agree. Give them a choice to "wait until later" and they will have to wait 24 hours. If they "wait" again, then it is 2 or 3 days. If they "wait" again, it is a week.I would hope its not waiting for others to download. Yes, the vents in my bed have their settings kept across all conditions. :-DDoes it save the vent settings for the third row when you get back in the vehicle?
I am 99% sure I found the clicking is related to the mechanical connection to the brake pedal having some play and the retaining clip is also able to rattle. Under Driver+ the braking system is repeatedly engaging/disengaging on flat roads which slightly moves the brake pedal and makes the noise. I thought is was a relay until I reached my hand under the dash and could feel the brake pedal attachment itself has play as well as the noisy retaining clip. It also makes the noise as the car rolls to a stop and the HOLD prepares to engage.I drove about 20 miles with Quad R1S Gen 1 new update. It seems throttle mapping is improved, but a little less aggressive in all purpose mode. The AC controls are much improved. It seems the suspension is a little better in all purpose mode - but I think that a lot of people confuse bouncy suspension with throttle action on the bumps in this car...when we go over bumps our throttle foot moves, which engages regen, then our foot moves because of that, which then causes acceleration and pogo.
Does anyone know if this update fixes the issue of the brake clicking like crazy when driving straight and level with Driver+ engaged?
We just had this issue (or I noticed it for the first time) pop up on our road trip last weekend. I found the same on reddit where people said it is the retaining clip on the brake pedal. One person said their clip was in backwards and that was the issue. I put a ticket in on it just in case. I didn't notice it until I was coming home from New Hampshire and it was too early for any music and the kids were asleep and I heard it when I got on the highway, now I can't unhear it.I am 99% sure I found the clicking is related to the mechanical connection to the brake pedal having some play and the retaining clip is also able to rattle.
