Let us know how they are. If you can, do an efficiency run before and after. I’m planning on switching to them the same day I get my R1S.
Send pics when you get them on. Curious to see how the 65's look on the 20 inch wheels. Thanks for all the updates! I'm in the same boat and trying to decide 60's versus 65's.

I called Tire Rack and got on the list for some Michelin LTX MS2 275/65/R20. They said the Dec 1st is a soft launch. They said their order is scheduled to arrive on Dec 6th. I also called Michelin and they said it is a soft launch on Dec 1st and distributors should be receiving them about two weeks later. So they should arrive soon.
Well, latest delivery estimate is Dec 17th. 11 days later than original estimate, but I still have tread left, so no big hurry.

I went with the 60s for the increased range. Mobile service updated my wheel settings for me “off the books.” New rubber is being installed tomorrow.

I am on the fence too. I am torn between the new Goodyears and the LTX MS2s. The photos that ATL_R1S linked to make the R1S look like a minivan and the R1T not much better. Argh, my decision is even harder now. I was leaning towards the LTX but I think I am shifting back toward the Goodyears and take the small efficiency hit.
I think that’s a good argument to go with the new larger 65s vs downsizing. Maybe the look with the slightly larger size will be less of a hit.

Why do these have to be available online after the $80 mail-in rebate deadline of Dec 8 (plus BF $60 extra discount)??

Can't wait for you guys to post some pics. Prices are pretty reasonable too given the size and performance of this rubber. My current Volvo is $450 a tire for Michelins.

I finally got the 275/65 R60 Defender LTX MS2s.

The ride is SO MUCH smoother than the Pirelli Scorpions. I can’t yet tell if the efficiency is any better. I’ve driven less than 200 miles on them with an average of 1.83mi/KwH so far, but most of them have been short drives, and it’s been really cold here in the Carolinas.

I had 2.05mi/KWH with the Pirellis over 16K miles.

Please keep us posted on the efficiency. Should be better than the pirelli ATs but I’m curious by how much too. I do think the 65’s look good. Not aggressive “chunky” like the ATs but it will work for me. Thanks for sharing.
