Thus, he’s a toolWhy does every video need to advertise itself as "the raw truth" or some such. Would anyone make a YouTube video openly suggesting that their review is untruthful?

On social, it’s a fine line between idiot & genius
" In the technology industry, if you don’t have attention, you are not relevant. And there is nothing scarier than irrelevance in Silicon Valley. It is like a Hollywood star losing their good looks. Ignoring someone in tech is essentially triggering their worst fears. Hence, the need to be in the spotlight and get attention. And control the narrative."
So I don't know Ryan Shaw but he's just playing the game. "Don't hate the player, hate the game".
No comment on the video since I have not watched it yet, but the reason for the clickbate title is 100% catering to Youtube's algorithm. Same goes for other similarly titled videos. These content creators are just doing what they need to in order to reach the widest possible audience. Once you realize this, easier to approach them as having less of a douche factor lol.Why does every video need to advertise itself as "the raw truth" or some such. You just watched 100% of ONE of his videos.Wow, you guys be crazy! I just watched the entire video. The guy is a total Rivian cheerleader. He found a tiny fault in the key card not working, some noise and rattles, but dismissed those as probably just an early VIN issue. He owns and loves an R1T. This was a 99.5% positive review.
I guess 0.5% negative = "tool" and more than 1% negative = Satan?
Where does that even show up?Why does every video need to advertise itself as "the raw truth" or some such. Would anyone make a YouTube video openly suggesting that their review is untruthful?
Did you see the video thumbnail image above?Where does that even show up?
The headline says "The Rivian R1S Full Review | A Tesla Owner's Perspective"
I see the video that the OP shared.Did you see the video thumbnail image above?
The thumbnail literally has "TRUTH" in all caps as the background of the image. And there have been several other Rivian videos that purport to tell the REAL TRUTH or RAW TRUTH or REAL EXPERIENCE. I get there are algorithms but it just feels mega cringey and fake.Where does that even show up?

Goes to show how much my brain just filters out as noise. HahaThe thumbnail literally has "TRUTH" in all caps as the background of the image.
