Look under View Charging Session. You can change the limit to the vehicles preset levels.

Once it starts to charge, you can hit the pencil icon in the charge status bar to change charging levels from 70,85 or 100

Yep, I was not plugged in. Tesla App allows editing of rate while not plugged in. Not sure what the logic is requiring you to be plugged in/charging to change.

I guess they’re thinking that if you’re not plugged in, then what’s the point of changing the level? Maybe it will change in a future update, but I’m fine with it for now. I wish we could change to a more specific level as opposed to preset levels, but that’s just me.

I might be missing something but why would you want to change the charge limit if you are not plugged in?

On our Tesla, we often change the limit, ie going to be in town this week, set it to 75% on Sunday and forget it. Why not have a slider and let me pre select my charge rate.
