Was watching Marques Brownlee's latest review of the $2.4 M, fastest production car ever and noticed they will be adding CarPlay/Android Auto in future software updates. It would be a useful option for us pokey 3.0 seconds to 60 R1 drivers. :-)

has anyone tried this "car play box" that i have been getting instagram ads for? it looks interesting, but like most EVs - the R1T doesnt offer a convenient space to mount the suction cup holder. if anyone has had any experience with it, please let me know.

Discovered yesterday that I was looking up an address on Google maps and on my iPhone hit the share button where there was an option to send to Rivian. It loads the address on the vehicle map with driving directions. Nice way to preload your trip from the phone since there is no direct CarPlay...

I don’t care about CarPlay, but I want AirPlay/Google Cast/MiraCast. That way, when recharging or at a camp site I can watch whatever I want on the big screen. Movies etc with all those speakers. Who’s in?
