I had the same issue but it was resolved after 2 days. I did a hard reset too. Now the car goes to sleep after 2 minutes. I have a uniden R4 and VIOFO dual channel dash cam tapped to the rear view mirror.

Thanks for your input but I don’t know how to measure the power draw.

Update: I connected both devices today and completed the installation. I’m happy to report that the car goes to sleep mode after 2 minutes and it shuts down both the dashcam and radar detector. I think what happened yesterday was related to the recent software update and kept installing that’s...

Yes, I’m using a 90 degree adapter I bought from Amazon. Do you think that’s an issue? I tried to contact bestbuy to return the SSD and they said the item is not returnable bec it’s over 15 days.

So I went to service center. They said one of the files was corrupted so we erased all the files and they did a hard reset. Worked for 2 days and now media is offline again. I will try to reformat the SSD. I don’t see FAT32. I will try exFAT and see it will fix it.

yes, I have a 1 tb Sandisk Extreme Pro SSD in the center console. I unplugged and plugged it back in and it didn’t fix it. I can see the recordings when I connect it to my computer. This is actually the 2nd time it happened. 1st was fix by a soft reset. I’m curious why this is happening.

Yeah, I can see from the picture the tabs on the lower portion are much easier to detach. I have an old mount from Amazon that I can use to attach to the rear view mirror shaft. It’s tight but it will work. Thank you!
