The pricing sounds great. However, I'm seriously doubting the specs, more specifically the range estimate. 330 miles on a 87.9 kwh battery equates to 3.75 mi/kWh. That only seems remotely possible in low speed, around town, frequent stops type of trips.

FYI... The "starting at $45,000" was not completely removed from the website. If you hover over the R2 label at the top of the website, you get the above which you can see in the top right still says starting at $45,000. Apologies if this has already been said. If so, I must have missed it.

Do we know the expected range or mi/kWh with the 40 sDrive or xDrive? If the 40 xDrive gets over 350 miles of range, has fast charging, and is under $55k, then that is going to be a very competitive vehicle.

Looks are subjective. I love the look of the R2, the iX3 not as much. But I don't think the iX3 is as ugly as the Model Y and that was the best selling car in the world at one point.
