It seems the communication from the SC, the cadence of VINs being issued and deliveries being scheduled, are completely inconsistent from customer to customer.
People really need to stop bashing someone who joins and voices a legitimate complaint. So what if they hadn’t joined the forum previously when they bought their first 2 Rivians. They’re obviously a fan of the brand otherwise they wouldn’t have purchased a third one.
Unfortunately we don't know the actual sales price. We know it was listed $20k over MSRP but we don't know what the actual negotiated price was.
One thing people seem to overlook, and maybe because it depends on what state you live in, but many people do not have to pay sales tax on a private...
From my understanding, the RAN chargers are only rated to 500 amps. I assume that future sites will be more powerful now that the R2 is designed to use 600 amps.
Given that RAN chargers and most other DC chargers out there are running at 500 amps, will this either a) cause these melting...
Thank you for the awesome writeup and detailed info. One question I’ve been looking to have answered, what is the shortest distance from the back of the backseat to the tailgate when it’s closed? Looking to see if a particular item will fit.

Not true. I have a delivery date of 7/17 for my first R2 reservation. And my second reservation has an estimate of 2-4 weeks to place my order. Seems a bit unfair to everyone else.
I thought the opposite.
If they're getting 2.55 mi/kWh at 78mph, that translates to 224 miles going from 100% to 0% at 78mph on 87.9 kWh. On AT tires that's only a 27% hit on range compared to its EPA rating. Not bad at all if you ask me. Which you didn't.
I have a 2022 Mach e and have an R2 on the way. I can speak to the 1PD based on my demo drive of the R2. It has 3 levels of regen that you can choose from. If you don’t like 1PD, you will hate the highest setting. It grabs immediately and slows the vehicle quickly, much much quicker than the...
