From my understanding, the RAN chargers are only rated to 500 amps. I assume that future sites will be more powerful now that the R2 is designed to use 600 amps. Given that RAN chargers and most other DC chargers out there are running at 500 amps, will this either a) cause these melting...

I'm definitely keeping my R2. But I have 2 reservations, so if someone is impulse buying and spending more than they should on one of these, I'm happy to use both reservations to sell one and keep one.

If this sells for that price, I will be immediately listing my R2 upon delivery and utilizing my second R2 reservation for my personal vehicle.

Not true. I have a delivery date of 7/17 for my first R2 reservation. And my second reservation has an estimate of 2-4 weeks to place my order. Seems a bit unfair to everyone else.

Based on other threads in the forums, I think a sunshade insert of some kind for the sunroof would be a good idea.

Do we know if they were in Conserve or another mode during the trip? It would be another clarifying data point that would be helpful to know?

I thought the opposite. If they're getting 2.55 mi/kWh at 78mph, that translates to 224 miles going from 100% to 0% at 78mph on 87.9 kWh. On AT tires that's only a 27% hit on range compared to its EPA rating. Not bad at all if you ask me. Which you didn't.
