Are you saying you get significant sound out of the driver door by "left channel came alive"? I'm trying to understand if I have an issue that can be fixed like yours.
Without changing my EQ, there was definitely a low end boost and it now sounds like I actually have a subwoofer. Overall, definitely an improvement in the system.
As far as soundstage, I don't think it was that much of an improvement as most of the mid range still seems to be coming from the...
I went out for a little drive last night to test out 2025.06 and spotted this truck with MFG tags and a unique wrap.
Looked pretty cool and definitely caught my eye. Thought the forum might find this interesting.
The release notes only talk about a driver in front, they don't mention the light itself.
New Driver Assistance Feature: Go Chime
While you’re at a stop, Go Chime alerts you when the vehicle ahead of you drivers away.
Overall, very solid update. I'm excited.
So for the go chime, does it not work if you're in the front of a line at a stop light?
Also, I wonder if the enhanced highway assist just does away with the wheel touching requirement or if the actual driving is also updating with regards to...
Yeah, I would assume the same but then you could argue that the Tri should be 1.5 x DMP or 983 instead of 850.
If for some reason you could give a boost to the Tri but the Quad is battery output limited, then you would have an awkward value prop for the Quad.
I specifically called out conserve in reference to the pictures.
I find it odd that I show evidence of the 400 mile range being achievable in real world conditions and then you just make this claim with no evidence.
I'm curious where you're seeing that the 371 number is a blended drive mode number? Your other post has a transcript that never says they used a blended drive mode.
I find that I can get pretty close to 400 in conserve mode on my R1S Tri when I'm using highway assist on at modest speeds...
I think the quarter mile times are only 0.1s apart with the 3 being faster.
I'm not sure this comparison is apples to apples since you're comparing an R1S time to an R1T and, at least for the G2 Quad, Rivian quotes slightly slower times for the for the R1S. But, fair in general.
I don't...
Cool points of reference.
I believe the g force you're referencing for 0-60 in 2.86s assumes a constant acceleration (which, I get .94g btw). In reality, it's not constant so peak g force I've seen is 1.18 as reported by the vehicle in launch mode.
I have a 2025 R1S Tri with 22" Sport Dark wheels. For me, the car reports a range of about 350 in AP and 400 in Conserve. In reality, I think I get 350 in conserve if it's actually all highway driving in the mid 70mphs. In mixed use, I think I get pretty close to the car's prediction (350 and...
If you're looking for something visual that won't wear, why not put a sticker/ decal around or next to the button. Outline it essentially. Or a couple yellow arrows on either side. You could probably cut something out of yellow duct tape...
In this article from Car buzz with a R1S Tri they got the following (and noted times were independently confirmed and retested with a Racebox data recorder)
Launch: 2.86s
Sport: 3.04s
AP: 3.58s
Conserve: 4.51s
Looks like the built in launch timer lines up pretty well with independent...
