Oh, dope!

I can’t remember where but I saw someone post a conversation with an engineer that said the aluminum loop around the fob caused problems. Maybe that’s why the signal sucks so bad also.

I’m 6’ and I still want steps. No matter the height it’s annoying to get in and I keep kneeing the wheel or dash.

Why can’t they just make a functional passive fob? If they could figure out the fob presumably they could use the existing door handle sensors. I hate the phone key. It sucks and it’s a dumb complication to an already solved and well executed alternative.

What’s interesting is that if that is true, it makes noise even when the climate is turned totally off and the truck hasn’t been driven for hours. I assume that the AC compressor is actually activated by the button on the screen so if that’s off what pump/compressor is this?

I think you’re going to be really disappointed. Only speaking as someone who had it for less than a week though.

This does not inspire hope that the service ticket I have for it will resolve anything. I don’t know why but I find it deeply annoying.

Anyone know if you can still get the updates if you’ve got a service light on? I’ve got a “service suspension soon” so I’m wondering whether they’ll allow an update if your truck is ill.

Per my CPA, you’ve got to take delivery of it in the same year for it to count. Maybe it’s different for individuals filing than it is for a business but I’m not sure your idea would fly legally.

I think you’ll have a difficult time getting a set of forged aluminum wheels and tires that fit the wheel well for at least some time under $3500. Seems to be about $600 minimum each for forged wheels and about 1700 for a set of ATs. Figure another $100 for TPMS and mount and balance per wheel...

My truck shit the bed so I changed to green interior to get an earlier build. I took 21s over the 20s knowing I was going to have a set of both regardless. I was surprised at how much I like the green compared to the back even though I got it sight unseen.

I drive in conserve mode on the highway, all purpose everywhere else. I am seeing 2.5-2.7 in ideal conditions going up and downhill each day.

Alright, I know there’s a lot of you that love the sound system but there are a lot of us that want more out of it. I figure we need a repository for all the info specific to the R1T audio system. I’ll be digging into it to understand what my options are, please post what you know here.
