You were lucky, It’s not hype. I just took a 1,500 round trip from South Florida to Atlanta over the July 4th weekend. I primarily used EA chargers and it was a nightmare. Every single EA charging station had at least 25% or 30% of their chargers unavailable. On my way up north, I stopped in...

Nice report. Thanks for sharing. Glad to hear EA stations worked fine. I am planning to trip along the east coast and am a bit worried about EA, based on reports on the forum.
Totally agree, I have only had my R1T For one day, but this definitely feels like a big ass truck, despite the ”drive like a car“ comparisons, I heard about.
Love, love my RIT. It’s way beyond my expectations, given some of the defects I have read about on this forum.
Awesome. Hope you enjoy it. Mine is delayed until next week. My loan paperwork was not processed in time for delivery. Rivian does not accept bank drafts, so I have to wait for an actual check to be delivered to me so I can upload it to Rivian. Sheesh!!!

Home delivery is typically via flatbed to a few blocks close to your residence, then they unload it and drive it to your house. I am also scheduled to take delivery in South Florida this weekend, but may just fly to Orlando to pick it up and drive the 200 miles home.
Tesla gives you the option to set a PIN to put the car in drive. Does Rivian have that as well? So even if the car is unlocked it is still bricked without the PIN.,

I think you are right. My guide originally told me my VIN may take a couple of weeks, until a trunk rolled off the line, but the VIN popped up during 8 steps and he confirmed that it was sitting on the lot at Normal.
Locked in my config, but my PBA seems to lost in email purgatory. Since I am picking up at SC, my guide said delivery will be faster, but I will believe it when I get a delivery date.
