Put a deposit on the EX 90, number 12k something. Have a preorder on the R1S, January 2022 supposedly coming sometime in 2024. I've had a Volvo xc40 Recharge since May 2021, love it, so kind of inclined toward a second Volvo electric. One fairly big consideration is whether the EX 90 will be...
Huh? SLC elevation is 4,226, Park City elevation is about 7,000. So elevation gain SLC to Park City is about 2775. Round trip elevation gain is zero. What goes up must come down. Am I missing something here?
We need tire companies to make winter tires for the 21 inch wheels. I doubt I'll get my R1S before late 2023 but living in CO already anxious about it.
Nope, in for the long haul. Though my 4Runner has 235k miles on it, and fingers are crossed that I get to the head of the line before it goes belly up.
See below: it seems bad news for those of us who did the binding contract with the $100 penalty.(See last paragraph below). Hope I'm wrong.
"Transition Rule for Vehicles Purchased before August 16, 2022
If you entered into a written binding contract to purchase a new qualifying electric...
I did a trip to Moab last fall in my Volvo electric. Stayed at the Gonzo Inn and charged overnight there. Not a great option, as the Gonzo had just two chargers, but it worked.
Since you're in Colorado, try Independent Power in Boulder. They did our first 4.3 KW system in 2007, and our 6 plus KW addition this July. Great experiences both times. One caveat: the company was acquired around the time our second project was finished and I can't really vouch for how it's...
We live in Colorado and have an R1S on pre-order. It will replace a 4Runner as our go-to-the-mountains vehicle. We have a remote cabin, at 11,500 feet elevation, and for six months of the year we snowshoe in (2 miles) because the road is not plowed. We park where the plowing ends. So our vehicle...
Golden resident here. January 2022 pre-order so thinking late 2023 if I'm lucky. The R1S will share space in our garage with the Volvo Recharge. The R1S will be our mountain vehicle, taking us to our cabin at 11,500 feet.
On my configuration site the revised price ($85k instead of $72k) price is still listed. I assume that will be re-revised to my original price and configuration?
