Hey, we don't need any of that logic stuff here....
Obviously, this is a good idea and one that hadn't even occurred to me, not that I've given any thought to it at this point.
My wife has a name for her Model Y and I was definitely going to be naming my R1S Geralt, assuming I don't come up with another name in the next two years (or more?) while I wait.
So, two yes and one no...? Perhaps someone with an actual delivery can post a video to confirm or deny? Video could be of the setting that can be changed in the app, or of the truck charging with the light going off when the vehicle is locked.
Oh man. My neighbors will love the bright light shining across the street into their bedroom window. And, quite a beacon to late night prowlers. Gear Guard will be on, for sure.
Do we know at this point if we can disable the super bright lights that indicate charging status, if so desired? I'm just imagining having my Rivian in the driveway (no room in the garage) with the lights on all night, and how much unwanted attention that would get.
It's a steep increase, so I am undecided. I still have a reservation on the cybertruck, which is also likely to see an increase. For now, I'll keep both reservations, but I'm finding it difficult to stomach the idea of spending $100K (or very close) on a vehicle.
I think this is a cool feature, if you're the only one in the household that uses the garage door (multiple individual garage doors, or a single double wide one). I picture a situation where I'm doing something and have my vehicle half in the garage and half out, then my wife comes home while...
Yeah, they might have one that goes further back before coming up. I'll have to look into it. Sucks because I already have 2 hitch bed extenders and now I might have to buy a 3rd. But, on the bright side, I could probably pay for it by selling these other 2.
I have a RAM 1500 with a 5'7" bed and I have a kayak I take out for fishing. To do that, I put the kayak in the bed with the tailgate down, and use a hitch mounted bed extender. With the gooseneck style of the R1T tailgate, it seems those traditional hitch mounted extenders may not fit. Any idea...
