  1. Washington Sold: FS 21" Spare wheels and tires - 2500 miles

I have 1 wheel and tires for sale for spares. These came with my truck but replaced them with 20" after about 2500 miles. All come with aero covers and center caps. Located near Seattle. Looking for pickup or can deliver if close by too. At this time, I am not looking to ship. Two One...
  2. Moving from 21" to 20" tires (no offroad) recommendations

Correct, you can not change the wheels if they already assigned a VIN to you. I asked the same thing and they would have to unmatch my VIN and I would have to wait for a different VIN. I didn't want to wait again so I accepted. I bought the 20" from the store and had SC change them. I looked...
  3. Traveling to Vancouver, need tips on charging

Thanks for your advice. I'll look on the map where I can find them. I may only need to charge up before I leave so I'm ok if it's a slower 50kw charger as I can go and get some food since there is so much do in the area. Any more places, please let me know. Thank you.
  4. Traveling to Vancouver, need tips on charging

Hello my northern neighbors, I am traveling to Vancouver BC and I am not familiar with what my charging options there are. I did some mapping in PlugShare and see a lot of very slow level 2 chargers around the parking lots, like 6kw. Is there any DC fast chargers in the area that can pull what...
  5. Wheel Options Comparison Table anywhere?

I couldn't find the original thread, but this one has a table of tire options per wheel size: https://www.rivianforums.com/forum/threads/20%E2%80%9D-at-vs-21%E2%80%9D-standard-tires.3554/post-97500 Though it includes non OEM sizes too. I don't think there has been enough data or people that...
  6. News Alert! 1EV Jack Puck Case Kits now include a FREE Rivian Deep Wall Lug Nut Impact Socket!

My order was placed prior to this announcement and was happily surprised when I received my kit it included the socket. That was nice of you to include that for pending orders. Much appreciated!
  7. Front License Plate Mount that looks good and high quality?

I went with this idea and has worked well. For me at least just took a little bit of time to nudge the mount so it doesn't block any sensors. Probably the cheapest solution if you already have the front mount from Rivian...
  8. Rear wheel noise

What kind of noise is it? I recently been hearing a clicking sound when going forward (but not noticeable in reverse) that is easy to hear about 3-10 mph and is still there going normal driving speeds but it's hard to heard it with the motor sounds. I don't seem to hear it until recently but I...
  9. Cheap solution to phone sliding on charging mat

Yeah, it might get dirty but just some soap and water would do the trick. If not, there is enough silicon in the roll to make a couple more.
  10. Cheap solution to phone sliding on charging mat

As everyone has experienced the issue of your phone sliding around while driving on the charging mat by the center arm rest, I came up with my own solution that works and is very simple that I wanted to share. I bought thin roll of clear silicon that is fairly sticky on both sides. Simply cut...
  11. Rivian app using excessive phone battery

I have some bad drain on my Galaxy S20, the only way for me to not have an impact is to go into the settings for the rivian app and change the battery usage to "Restricted" which keeps the battery usage down when the app is in the background. The down side is sometimes the proximity unlocking...
  12. WA State increasing chain enforcement / requirement on mountain roads

How do you like those tires so far? Did you get to compare them to the AT in the snow?
  13. WA State increasing chain enforcement / requirement on mountain roads

Is anyone getting winter tires for their R1? Lots of mixed reports of how well the AT and AS handle. I'm trying to see what others are doing this winter.
  14. Anyone order wheels and install in the Bellevue SC?

I wanted to share, I did call Rivian service and told me that they usually make special appointment to install new wheels so I wouldn't have to wait too long, but they would I would have to put the order in to see what the schedule looks like. They also said the mobile service could also do it...
  15. Anyone order wheels and install in the Bellevue SC?

I have the 21" wheels and they did fine on the bit of snow we got so far in the area. I do plan to make some trips to the ski resorts in the area this year and been reading so far about winter tires and choices. I'm really debating on getting a set of 20" but with how backed up Bellevue SC is...
  16. WA State increasing chain enforcement / requirement on mountain roads

This is from the R1T manual: So if you have the 20" because of the clearance, don't use cables/chains. I have the 21" so I probably will get the cables for rear. I never tried the socks before but that might be a better way to reduce the risk of damage if they fall off.
  17. Headlight adjustment needed

This is very minor, but my left headlight is aiming slightly lower than my right, its just an annoyance I see every time the truck is pointing at a wall nearby, I just want to just jump out and aim it up a small amount. Other cars have a page in the manual for how to adjust your headlights and...
  18. Rivian wall charger wifi connection

I just set my up last week. Paring with bluetooth and wifi was not simple. The pairing took many attempts including turning bluetooth on/off, deleting the device from my android phone. When it paired and it was time to connect with wifi, it showed a couple networks but it didn't show mine even...
