Yes on 21s, mid 60s weather, was intentionally driving very carefully following slow trucks etc. I don't normally drive like that but wanted to see what I could do.
Did the new 2023.2.3 update yesterday and drove to LA and back to SD today. Got 2.69mi/kWh, I think the best I have ever gotten as I "hyper milled" the truck driving at or below the speed limit most of the way to see what it would get. They also fixed the total energy be reported incorrectly.
I...
Wife backed into a tree on Halloween last year. Could not take looking at the dent anymore so finally found a guy that the local Rivian service center recommended and he did a great job! Has already a lot of experience on Rivian's.
His name is Christian Cardona at (619) 549-0067
He is a cash or...
I noticed the bug shortly after the last update, was on the phone with Rivian for something else and mentioned it to them. The guy on the call did not say "oh we know about that" so I put in a ticket, sent pictures of the bad math and showing it was correct back in November. Hopefully fixed in...
Rivian stopped putting the 12v outlet in the fronk, super stupid but I have heard rumors the wiring is there just have to put a hole and receptacle in. I tried to run a cooler in the fronk for a while, got too hot and I killed the cooler. Maybe that is why it went away, super bummer though.
The 21s drive much nicer! About 12% better mileage too. They don't offroad or have as much traction but for freeway and general driving they are the way to go.
Up to 25,447 miles as of today.
Was out in the dessert east of San Diego. Did not have enough juice to make it home towing. Honda generator did the trick with the right power adapters. Took a while but I wasn't going anywhere.
What happens if you put the vents on inside air (recirculate)? It may not stay on long based on the humidity but worth a try. I fortunately cannot attest to the cold you are experiencing in San Diego. The heat is resistive heating and I would think should not matter what the outside air temp is...
Yours look "pullable", mine is maybe pullable. I asked the service center people here to get me an estimate from a dent puller they work with but have not hear back.
So the estimates are just static based on the tires?
I guess I can reset it and then drive like a maniac in conserve mode to see what I get. Seems pretty stupid to not actually calculate the real numbers. Unless we all just drive the same...
So if someone steals my phone then steals my truck, what the F am I suppose to do? I thought about this and really that is not totally unrealistic from happening.
I assume I would find another phone, call Rivian, prove who I am who I am and tell them my truck is stolen. Then call the police...
I also want to add, I did not buy the Ecoflow for the purpose of charging my Rivian. That was just an experiment. I have it for emergency backup as well as dry camping for my travel trailer since Rivian decided not to put a 30 amp inverter on the truck. Even Ford has that option, would have been...
More of an experiment. I do not plan to take my battery with me for the "spare power". But it is possible to do in an emergency. With that unit plus 2 extra batteries you could get up to 18 miles of range.
On the topic of a generator that is also a huge time suck and is not a very relevant...
At this point the best answer from Rivian is that the truck is not "sleeping" enough. Since I run my inverter a lot the 12v system does not maintain the batteries all the time and typically does that while sleeping. Also I received my truck in March and have a lot more miles than most. Hopefully...
