Ummm no. Wealthy people have savvy ways to reduce income, thus opening up tax credits and reducing tax burden. If you are “wealthy” and are not doing this, you are giving away your $$$.
Where did I assume this? Lol. I was clearly discussing my experience.
I’d recommend a little yoga or something. Channel away all that anger! You’ll be healthier for it.
This is a little cherry picked. I’ve spent many more times waiting to charge or charging than waiting for gas or filling up. I can’t even remember a time in years where I had to wait more than 3 minutes before getting to the pump and more than 6-7 minutes overall filling up.
lol getting 90 minutes more sleep is kinda important. I don’t get to my destination in good time to sit in a hotel room. Who does that? I get there to do the stuff I want to do at the destination. 🤷‍♂️
It’s a 100kwHr battery. It’s on par with Rivian options. Folks here have consistently seen 800V systems have much better charging curves than Rivian’s. It’s a main complaint.
Not sure where you are getting that. I can consistently add 60kwhr at 250+ kw/hr with an 800V car. It holds a curve really well. So it’s about 23 minutes to go from 20-80%, assuming you are at a legit 800V station.
That’s more than a 3 minute savings.
I think that is right, for you and me who are educated customers. But….as much as I think teslas feel like cheap cars, people look at their tech as way advanced and the pinnacle of EV tech. That’s the average customer. So, if you are looking to grab them, you have a problem.
If Rivian is...
That’s been my point about the R2. It’s not competitively priced. I guess they are hoping there is enough pent up demand for a Rivian that people will pay $20k more than for a Tesla. 🤷‍♂️
I disagree. With the R1, Rivian didn’t say that a more capable Gen 2 was going to happen later that year. They are with the R2.
While I generally agree that if you are waiting for better tech, you are always waiting, I also don’t think buying something the manufacturer is telling you will be...
I love driving my truck, especially off-road or country roads. But I do want autonomous features on this car. Especially if you plan on keeping it for 5-7 years, which puts you at 2033, when lack of autonomous features will stand out more. I may be in the minority though.
Same here. I’m waiting. Look at all the Gen 1 R1 owners on here. I can’t end up with a car that has limited features compared to one the company already said they will launch the same year.
