  1. New Rivian service centers coming to Colorado (Centennial and Louisville)

also received a call today to switch my Denver sc appointment to Louisville. Excited to check it out next Thursday!
  2. Is this underbody damage OK?

I would be very careful. It could be superficial damage or it could be something very serious depending on how hard the impact was and what it was with. Have it looked at by an SC if you can, otherwise I would pass.
  3. Is this underbody damage OK?

Is this a for sale by owner or a dealer? Do they know what happened?
  4. No more El Cap or Borealis Purple colors

I suppose that’s true. I have to remind myself sometimes that these colors have been around about 4 years now. Seems like just yesterday….
  5. I have questions if any one has answers (potential R1T buyer)

We have two kids, 8 and 12. No problems whatsoever with fit. The back seat has help up pretty well last few years in spite of all their kicking, muddy shoes, snack melting, etc… It is the preferred road trip vehicle by all. Luggage fits neatly in frunk and or gear tunnel leaving plenty of space...
  6. No more El Cap or Borealis Purple colors

Surprising about El Cap. Would only really make sense if there weren’t many takers. But I though this was a fairly popular color.
  7. Rivian and CrunchLabs Announce Exclusive Partnership to Demystify and Spark Curiosity in EV Technology

Oh yes. Kids love them. I would recommend the squirrel obstacle course, puzzle solving robot to start but there are many other cool ones.
  8. Evotrex-PG5 RV Trailer: Off-Grid Camping with AC On — V2V Charging, Home Energy Backup, and More

Totally agree with you. Generators at campsites are some of the worst noise pollution you can have. I too strive to reduce fuel use and I love that the R1T can power our camper. Another good solution to this problem is a svelte camper that doesn’t protrude much beyond the tow vehicle cross...
  9. Evotrex-PG5 RV Trailer: Off-Grid Camping with AC On — V2V Charging, Home Energy Backup, and More

I think this is a nice approach. The other power assisted campers out there just double the charging problems on the road.
  10. Evotrex-PG5 RV Trailer: Off-Grid Camping with AC On — V2V Charging, Home Energy Backup, and More

…also any estimates for tongue weight? Sorry if that’s in one of the videos.
  11. Evotrex-PG5 RV Trailer: Off-Grid Camping with AC On — V2V Charging, Home Energy Backup, and More

Pretty interesting. Would be interested to see an option for a bunk and/or twin beds.

I will second the sentiments regarding the towing tab and smaller fonts. I tow somewhat regularly, like using the towing display, but I still don’t like this towing tab design. There is so much empty space around the truck diagram, there should be no issue just keeping the towing information...
  13. New $59k Cybertruck version announced

    And crying…

Does manually activating kneel mode require three button taps in three separate screen areas?
  15. New $59k Cybertruck version announced

It’s in the configurator… wonder how long it will last. I have to say that at that price it made me think about it (very briefly) but there are still too many issues for it to be tempting.

Thank you! I had to go check and it is on. Both auto fan speed and auto-ventilate cabin was activated. I wonder if it’s an interplay between those settings. The auto fan might be related to the vents closing all the time but I’d have to do some testing to see.

That sound like no fun. May not be related to your experience but my symptoms include (gen 1): 1) the upper vents defaulting to closed every ride. This can make it feel chilly on a morning commute and I constantly forget about it until I’m sitting at a light wondering why I’m so cold. 2) when...
