Agreed. I have had 4 rentals in 3 years and they have all been absolutely horrible. I am very jealous of the people with Rivian loaners or at least nice cars. This last time Rivian set up a rental for me, dropped the car off and Enterprise didn't have any cars available, within 100 miles. I had...
I turned the feature completely off. As others have said, the existing camera views (especially the overhead) makes it not needed. I can see exactly how far I am from the curb w/ the overhead view.
That is precisely what I am saying, maybe just didnt get my point across. It is possible (as designed) to lift your foot off the accelerator slightly so that you slow down, but you do not slow down quick enough to trigger the brake lights. That would be the exact same as removing your foot...
Used this one yesterday to jump a Tahoe. Key is making sure you keep it charged. Luckily it comes with a 12v charger so I try and plug it in a couple times a year.
Feathering the accelerator and slowing your vehicle down but not enough to trigger the brake lights is the equivalent of you removing your foot from the accelerator in an ICE car and coasting. No brake lights come on when you coast, but you are slowing at the same rate as if you feathered the...
I really don't care about having it on the main screen, so if it gets added I wont complain... but why are all you people wanting your odometer on a main screen? How often are you having to check your odometer?! And for what reason?! I have had to look at either one total of 2 or 3 times in my 3...
Having owned them in the past, this is definitely not something you want to remove often. Personally, if I installed one in the T I would consider the spare tire space non existent anymore.
I'm a n00b and dont understand how putting PPF on the sunroof would / wouldnt be any different than putting tint in regards to the possibility of cracking it due to heat? I understand why people say not to put tint on the roof because it can possibly crack it due to heat build up, but why would...
I also have my Tesla J1772 unit mounted inside my garage close to the garage door, then have the cable fished "under" my garage door by cutting a small notch in the wood framing around my garage. I then have a docking station mounted to the outside of my garage on the brick. Cable stays...
In the video it actually DOES look like you are expecting Mercedes quality with the force (or lack thereof) that you are using to shut the door. Watching this, to me, it looks like your other 3 doors are the problem and they don't properly seal if they are able to be shut with that little force...
Perfect, now you DEFINITELY can't put anything in the bed on top of this because our beds are so short (height).
With our size bed, I really dont see the use-case for this. I love the Decked system and had one in my work 2500, but it doesnt seem like a good fit for the Rivian. If you want to...
This is something similar that a member posted a couple years ago. While yes, it was originally designed for Tesla, it works for Rivian. That at least gets you part way there.
