Just waded through all of this. Nowhere did anyone mention starting and ending battery temps. How significant is that in back-to-back tests? I haven't been tracking it but it seems to make a pretty big difference here in MT. Depending on the interval between when your charger quit and when...
20K+ on the OEM Pirellis, about half the tread left; 6 K on Hankook iPike X studded snows over the past winter, back on the OEM pirellis now. I didn't fill out the survey because we haven't been through a whole set yet. May not make it to EOL for the Pirellis as two had punctures and one of...
Dangit. That's what pillars and headers are for. Maybe it's a safety precaution in case of rear-end collisions, but with a big back window at head/neck height that seems lame.
Has anyone made / looked at making a replacement for the front of the bed, back of the gear tunnel, that contains a lockable / removable hatch/door so the bed could be extended into the gear tunnel? Is that even possible? I haven't looked behind there, but the number of times my bed is 4" or...
I may be mistaken, but I think your video is incomplete. One should loosen the lugnuts before the tires leave contact with the ground. Otherwise, the wheels (back, I think, last time I did it by mistake) can just spin. And yes, the truck was in off-road, high.
I've had the same issues and response you have. I don't like dealing with tires; it gets harder and harder as I get older and can't lift what I used to and I've got plenty of other things to do. But you do what you feel you need to do.
I'm not saying Rivian should tell you how to rotate non...
No, I don't sell tires of any kind. I drive an R1T with studded directional snows in the winter, and OEM in the summer (at the moment, until they wear out). So the rotation differs depending on which tires are on the vehicle. Since that is a common combination of tires in this neck of the...
Whether Rivian sells them or not, it seems unwise to show/recommend a rotation pattern like that without pointing out that it should only be used for tires which do not have a directional tread, and pointing out that it may not be appropriate for your particular aftermarket off road or snow tires.
Anyone else notice that the tire rotation pattern shown in 25.06 is incorrect? If you have tires with a directional tread, you shouldn't move them to opposite sides of the vehicle, as they will be facing the wrong direction. Should only be rotated front to back.
So... I managed to download it to a freebsd box, transfer it to a ubuntu box, transfer it to the phone. So now I have Rivian_2.20.0.APKPure.xapk on the phone. Under Settings > Apps > Special app access > Install unknown apps I see 6 apps listed, Chrome, Drive, DuckDuckGo, Files by Google...
If I go to the apkpure rivian page it shows version 2.20.0, and I see architecture is arm64-v8a. The phone is running android version 12, not 14, and Motorola says it's the latest update. So I'm guessing Motorola is no longer supporting the phone, even though it's only a few years old.
The most recent version on apkpure I see is 2.13.0. If I install it, when I open it it says "This version of the app is no longer supported. You'll need to update it." None of the normal functions of the app are available. If I click the "Update Now" button, it goes to Google Play which says...
Unfortunately, this didn't work. Downloaded the apkpure app, used it to install the rivian app. But when I opened the rivian app it said it was outdated and needed to be updated. But when I went to update it it went to the playstore and it said incompatible.
Just updated R1T to 2025.6. Updated my phone and wife's phone (at least I *think* I updated my wife's phone; not sure)
Following update, checked keys because previously had a problem with my wife's phone not being able to locate the vehicle. Noticed there were 7 keys: 3 for wife (Fob, Card...
Thanks, that would work but way more than I'm willing to spend. I don't really want that much battery and would prefer something smaller; that's what the truck's for.
Does anyone know of a small-ish unit something like the bluetti AC200MAX but with 240VAC pure-sine output? We can power most stuff in the house we need with the R1T as is off the 120, rotating from fridg to freezer, etc., but the well pump is 30A 240VAC. I think the AC200MAX would handle that...
