Agree, I'm not entirely sure what's worse at 3k miles software or hardware. I guess hardware since 3k miles isn't exactly a lot and any components should be rated to last years and miles beyond that.
Agree, I couldn’t deal with that visible edge on the door or the lettering. It feels like it would just collect dirt after a while.
Edit: The more I look at this this more I'm annoyed on behalf of OP. This just looks like lazy work.
Friend, a simple "Logging back in wouldn't have worked for my use case" would suffice. Rivian is going to have bugs and miss steps likely far worse than this, its part of the early adopter game we all signed up for. The other side of the coin is being able to provide feedback that *hopefully*...
Driver+ seems to get a bit jumpy for me once the lane markers aren't clear and since I'm holding off on any really long trips for the short term I'm not really engaging it for local driving.
Some folks prefer the feeling of tempered glass over a plastic film. If it were a phone, something I interact with many times a day I'd prefer tempered glass. In the Rivian where all I'm really looking to do is reduce glare, dust and smudges I personally don't care. If the tempered glass was...
You want a button, that's fine. My point was only to emphasize proximity keys work successfully in other implementations and there's nothing from a tech perspective that prevents one from working in this case. For your purposes its a bit irrelevant, any maturity that myself or others are...
In fairness this is just poor execution. In the years owning my Tesla I don't think I can recall many "false wake" scenarios outside of a software update. My phone could be 10 feet away and I'd not have any issue, phantom drain at about 1% on average a day. With the Rivian I took the battery out...
I haven't really noticed bucking and I've been playing with the sport modes in around town driving. Curious, Is this your first EV with OPD? I know the first couple days in my Tesla were a bit strange, mostly because I go back and forth between an EV and and ICE vehicle. But once I got the hang...
Second heatshield. Had mine for about a week and was curious at first how it'd fit since it just slips into place without suction cups or anything. But it's stayed in place and kept the temps in the truck significantly lower.
Anyone have the update fail? The truck was sitting yesterday and it started ok and came back online some time later with a failed message in the display. I called support and they were going to push the update to my vehicle but I don't believe that's happened yet.
Not really a shock. No way Ford was going to eat increased costs as a result of ongoing supply issues. I'd just wish moving forward everyone who launches an EV just says starting at $X price and call it a day. I'm just waiting to hear how much my wifes pending Ioniq 5 reservation has increased.
I'm in the 8XXX VIN range and have what'd I'd consider a noisy a hell suspension. My service appointment is a month away and I don't really intend to do any long distance travel until I can get to service. I'm not new to early adopter woes but for a company pushing a premium product I'd think...
I think this is just the low standard of BT integration. Both my Tesla and my partner's late model Mazda did the same thing. Walk near either of them while on and calls would get picked up. With their software resources, it seems more likely (extremely small chance) that Rivian would be able to...
I'd be surprised if a substantial app update ended up released into the wild without some form of a leak prior. Even without a leak I'd think posting on social media by Rivian makes sense. Similar to what they did with the birdseye camera view.
