They did indeed fall through (had an option to pick up an OEM tonneau at the pre-order pricing AIUI). PM me if you're interested, I'd be happy to meet up in PA.
Purchased this Interrobang tonneau cover on July 5, fully expecting to cancel my Rivian OEM tonneau cover order. Ended up keeping the Rivian cover (pre-order pricing) so I'm looking to sell the Interrobang tonneau after a few weeks of ownership. This is a very robust tonneau and performs well...
In my case, you walk around to the side of the vehicle, grab the slat, and remove it by sliding one end out and then the other. It doesn't have to be slid out via the rails.

I've seen a few people ask this, but without a) the manufacturer disclosing this, or b) someone willing to test the limits of their very expensive accessory, I'm not sure it's reasonable to expect a response anytime soon.
P.S. Do folks typically stand on or otherwise stack heavy things on top...
Just swapped out the Interrobang tonneau for the Rivian one. Thoughts...
Interrobang has more robust materials and a simpler design. This is most apparent in the way each company addressed their "retraction" capabilities. The interrobang design works fine so long as the velcro pads stay...
