I ride almost exclusively in AP. A handful of miles in Conserve, probably more miles in Off-Road. The first ~4k miles were on OEM 22's, the rest on OEM 20's. My driving style is pretty conservative.
I'll defer to @kanundrum on the spare tire, but it's a pretty tame route. I drove there with the group in "part 1" and iirc nobody had any issues with leaks or getting stuck (and I was on 22's back then). Plenty of us should have tow straps, but I seriously doubt you'll need them.
I'd purchase an adapter with A2Z based on this thread if I hadn't already purchased one from Lectron. Honestly, their biggest drawback imho (as mentioned on the State of Charge video) remains the manual lock on the Tesla side of the adapter.
@EV Sportline what size ball mount are you using? I'm thinking about picking one of these up just for the ball mount + USB power, but to use it with my Peak Design mount / case.
This thread is tempting me to try building a custom enclosure. I'm pretty happy with the stock audio but also remember how good a pair of sealed 8s can sound when you source the right components.
P.S. You can't judge the quality of those subs from this video but you'll have to trust me that...
