RJ's first idea was a sports car, maybe that is what it looked like. Don't think they will enter that market anytime soon. R2, R3 R3X and maybe a true Subaru style wagon.
The numbers are staggering but the details matter. It's all based on performance and if he hits those targets the company will be worth way more than the comp package. I hate these things but I also get it. I just wish his base wasn't 2 million, then it seems like a true 'incentive' package.
Had a Gen1 for over 2 years, charged to 85% about every 10 days, didn't notice a thing. I have a Gen2 now and continue this method. When I picked it up they told me to charge to 100 every few weeks in addition to the 85% as needed
Dual motor R2 is going to sell the most, should be in the sweet spot for price and performance. The tri-motor will grab attention but will be expensive for the mass market. I still want one but I get it. Make the one that will sell the most next.
Having owned both a Quad Gen1 and now a Tri Gen2 I would go for the Gen2. Noticeably different vehicle and better in many many ways. Sure the Quad is powerful but that piece you only get to enjoy randomly. The improvements are noticeable 100% of the time.
Somewhere between $1 and $1,000,000 per share. I don't think you will see the returns on the R2 for 24 months. With the economy doing what it is and the current climate in America it will be tough for a few years. Hopefully they can continue to invest and ride it out.
I would pay $10 a month for it on my Gen2. Really depends on what is included in it. While I am not a fan of the FSD that Tesla offers the current system in the Rivian is working well for me, especially on long trips to Boston or Virginia that I have done. It make the drive much easier...
A new vehicle is not about the build date but the number of miles. Plenty of vehicles sit on a lot for months before being sold, they are still considered new.
If Rivian has fixed issues and now you found something else that is not lemon law but with your vehicle. I understand the frustration...
Just wanted to share that the Green Machine was in service for 2 days because of the headlight recall and a tire rotation. Rivian service took care of me and provided me with a Durango as a loaner. Having driven the Durango for the last two days I was really missing my R1S. I know its more...
