All Purpose with Soft and Auto Height. Max Regen.
  2. 25k miles, 17 months, 10K kwh on original factory 21" tires

I usually order through tire rack but I got mine on sale at Amazon this time. I always get tires delivered to my house then find an installer. I used PepBoys because NTB won’t work on EVs!…..
  3. 25k miles, 17 months, 10K kwh on original factory 21" tires

That’s great mileage! Mine are being installed right now.
  4. 25k miles, 17 months, 10K kwh on original factory 21" tires

If that does happen then I should have plenty of data to decide what to go with next. Other than the milage (and price) the Pirelli tires perform great. But I'd love to see Michelin deliver a long-lasting less expensive great performance tire for the 21" R1T!.....
  5. 25k miles, 17 months, 10K kwh on original factory 21" tires

Great questions and I’m interested to know why the math for average kWh is off….. As for driving…. I’m mostly mildly spirited. I like getting to the speed limit +10 before anyone else….. Otherwise I use driver+ and maintain. I also drive this truck 72mph most of my highway miles. I’ve only seen...
  6. 25k miles, 17 months, 10K kwh on original factory 21" tires

I did a “Z” pattern and used the spare for a 5 tire rotation. Therefore, each tire spent 5,000 miles on each corner resulting in each tire getting 20,000 miles of usage over the vehicle 25,000 miles.
  7. 25k miles, 17 months, 10K kwh on original factory 21" tires

I did a 5 tire rotation every 5,000 miles. Only replacing 4 tomorrow and keeping the best tire as a spare. If I switch to another tire (should one exist) I’ll buy 5.
  8. 25k miles, 17 months, 10K kwh on original factory 21" tires

#1 - maintain recommended tire pressure. Will make a big difference.
  9. 25k miles, 17 months, 10K kwh on original factory 21" tires

I was around 20k with 4/32 or 5/32. I chose to push on. I drive “spirited” sometimes but couldn’t imaging getting 30k ever. Never lost traction or felt any difference in performance all the way to the wear bars. Actually only one tire is there. The others have a tiny lip above.
  10. 25k miles, 17 months, 10K kwh on original factory 21" tires

Asking this question on a forum will get all kind of answers. The wear bar is the lowest legally “safe” level.
  11. 25k miles, 17 months, 10K kwh on original factory 21" tires

R1T Quad: 95% All Purpose with auto suspension. Rotate tires every 5,000 miles. Just hit 25,000 miles at 17 months and all 4 tires (21”) are near/at the wear bars. Have 4 replacements being mounted tomorrow. Was hoping for other tire options by now, but these tires wore even and performed well...
  12. Rodent attack...now what?

last July I had my R1T towed after receiving errors for the air suspension and collision warning system failures. After being towed, my garage Ring camera picked up motion (pic above). I’ve never had a groundhog in my garage before, but he obviously didn’t like the Rivian. Cleveland Service...
  13. Any Battery Degradation in your Rivian yet?

Sounds about right. I see 1.5%/day when parked idle at the airport.
  14. Any Battery Degradation in your Rivian yet?

How many of you are using Recurrent? After 16 months and 24K miles my report shows no loss in comparison to "others". Wondering if the "others" are all Rivians? I have the R1T Quad, 95% All purpose with an average spirited driver behind the wheel. 50/50 highway/local.
  15. Problems problems, all these damn problems! Let's hear from those who've had little / no issues! ?️

R1T, VIN<14XXX and 24,000 miles driven. Live 100 miles from the service center. One service center visit for a non-Rivian issue which was repaired in 3 days with an A+ service experience. Software updates have been great. No issues - love the truck!
  16. New 21" tire option - Michelin Defender LTX M/S 2 275/55-21 @ $380

Amazon had the 21" on sale last summer so I ordered 4 for $1,671 (including tax). Stored them in my garage to avoid "tire anxiety". I have 24,000 miles on the originals (5K, 5 tire rotations) and I am almost to the wear bars. Will be looking for a tire service to mount and balance soon...

  18. Alpha 2 RTT on R1T - Easy Install

That’s a great lifetime average. What is the type of trailer do you tow? I might consider doing the same in the future. I did go ahead and pull the trigger on the tent to take advantage of the sale price. I probably won’t get it out until spring. I’m in Pittsburgh.
