I too was excited about that roof option but I am guessing even if they were able to get it to work reliably and not cost a fortune it still would of been a costly add on (like the camp kitchen) just I assume the removable roof they say is coming mid-2022 will be an additional cost. It would of...
There is a lot of advantages to electric, environment as previously mentioned, cost of ownerships is lower since less to maintain, electricity being cheaper than gas, etc. but at the end of the day you have to choose what is going to work best for you and your family.
As far as range anxiety...
I am thinking they will deliver in June but not sure how many. 50-100 R1T LEs…maybe. It likely won’t be June 1st, just as Guides didn’t contact anyone one May 1st. Like others have said, if they were going to miss their timelines there likely would of been communication somewhere by now. I think...
I think Colorado would be very high on the list for first deliveries. Not only is CO EV and direct sales friendly but if selling “adventure” why start with major cities outside of IL and CA?
With the 7 day/1000 mile return policy, I will take delivery sight-unseen. I’m pretty set on my R1T configuration (exterior color could change) but unfortunately I don’t have an LE reservation so by the time it’s my turn for delivery, I’ll have likely seen a few in person.

Interesting that most here think the popular colors would be made first. I was thinking the opposite since production will likely start slow and probably have a few kinks to work out as well as new employees to train. Once they are ready to increase production then the more popular...
With Colorado having passed the legislation allowing them to direct sell and the recent agreement for chargers at every CO Sate Park, I would think we have a good chance of being near the top of the list. ?
Any guesses on what paint colors will be first for non-LE? My initial thought was that it would be the most popular (i.e. silver, white, el cap) but the more I thought about it I am wondering if the ones that are more expensive and might stand out more on the road (i.e. Rivian blue, compass...
Since you’ve made it on to InsideEV maybe Rivian will publish the accessories sooner than planned. Guess you’re famous now ?

Wonder if I have to have my Rivian to sign up. I’ve been thinking about changing insurance companies and would be interested in a quote for home and current autos, assuming available in my state.
