They adjust past usage based on changes in the weather. So if you were charging a lot in cooler months but not in the current hot month, they would index up the previous usage based on the cooling degree days for the current month. I have had this happen to me in the past. Swinging the bill...
Make sure that the bill was not an estimated read instead of an actual read. In some cases, when meters can't be read they estimate usage based on historical usage and adjustments based on weather etc. Charger on its own should not have a parasitic load of any significance.

I use conserve on any long highway trip. I switch to conserve once I am on the highway and then engage conserve. It increases my range notably. I stay at the posted speed limit, 70MPH, and get another 15% or more. I also use it on long stretches of US Highways where there are no lights and...
Your assessment is correct. Resistance increases as the conductors get warmer. Meaning that you can't get the same throughput on a hot conductor of the same size as when it is cold. This is why superconductors are kept really cold. Draping a wet cloth would certainly increase the cooling if...
You can go into the app and set a temperature at which the truck will start to cool, and it will take it from there. I have also gotten warnings on the app when the cabin temp has gotten high so that I can turn on cooling to avoid damage to electronics.
Great response. Complete. I agree with all of it. The burning appears to me to be the result of a loose connection on the hot (black) wire. That will cause arching and heating. Evidence of both in the picture.
You would be limited to about 1.5 kW in total I think in terms of what you can run at the same time. My battery is 150kWh so for me this would mean about 100 hours of full load running. AC and Fridges don't run all the time, though if the weather is bad, they could. I'm keeping the generator...
I had a couple of cases like that and it seems to me that both were in early light conditions and that the the light or shadow across the front camera caused it to think that there was something in my path. It braked hard and then whent the light changed, it released the brakes. Mayb something...
