Definitely tempers my expectations for the estimate I'll receive by the end of this year. I can't imagine there's any scenario where I get my R1S in 2022. (June 2021 preorder—look, hopes were slim but now they are pretty much non-existent.)
Rivian execs must be thrilled that Ford announced customer deliveries of the F150 Lightning are pushed back to September 2022. The longer it takes for the competition to debut, the more ahead they can get. You know, once they actually start delivering. Certainly Rivian will beat September...
Wait, what?!
They really need to get this straight and make sure everyone is on the same page and that every part of the website is in agreement. This is super, super, super basic information.

I'm missing something, I guess. Why did this information make the Reddit OP believe that they'll get their order by the end of 2022?
I'm a June 2021 preorder, and was hoping to get it in 2022... and then the "end of 2023" stuff came out and I pretty much gave up all hope.
I'm not seeing (or...
Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will chime in. The email isn't super clear. It definitely makes it sound like you can do the funding after you've "confirmed your allocation." It says the funds need to be transferred "by the payment deadline"... and I don't see what that deadline is. (The...
