It looks like you’re halfway to selling off the pieces, but if you’re still willing to sell the set for the original price, I’m ready to take the plunge. Message me and we can work out the details.
I’ll second (triple?) the note about short trips being worse efficiency. Typically <2m/kWh.
I just did a 120 mile trip yesterday. I have R1T, 21s, all purpose mode, drove 65-70 most of the time, ~85 degrees, very little wind, got 2.4. Overall pleased with that as its ~300 miles of range (127...
I have the exact same one! Agreed, it fits perfectly and is super helpful. Of course, it blocks quick access to the camp speaker, but I don’t use that anyway.
Hard for me to say if it’s thinner or thicker then the Lomax, but it’s definitely thick enough to cause you not to be able to open the spare compartment. And since the rail sits at a similar height at the Lomax (right above the OEM tonneau track) I suspect getting the spare in/out will be a...
FYI: I have the 1EV roll up cover and it has a very similar track that causes the spare compartment hatch to hit it. I suspect it would be very similar to how this would work. I have been able to removed my spare tire without issue, so I think you’ll be good.
Thanks for the pics and the video! Looks really nice.
Would you be able to confirm whether the cover would fit in the gear tunnel (or not) once removed? It sounds like rainman was doubtful, but figured I’d ask.
I’m considering getting the 20”, but am not sure yet and was going to wait until closer to winter. If you’re having trouble selling and are flexible on pricing, let me know and we can see if we can figure something out.
@Rainman looks great! I bought the 1EV roll up, but am thinking I should have gotten a hard folding cover.
If you don’t mind, I’d love to know if it fits in the gear tunnel if it is removed.
Am considering switching.
Just to confirm: is it the ski rack or the rivian cross bars that are whistling? I’ve seen a bunch of posts about the cross bars themselves making a whistling noise and someone figured out how to fix it.
Thank you for following this and providing the updates and insights!!
I still find it absurd that we have these terrible dealer laws in CT that even allow for these legal delays and challenges. Imagine if there was a law saying Apple couldn’t sell you an iPhone, you needed to buy it from a...
I use the the Grizzl-e duo. It goes up to 40 amps, but will split the charge 50/50 when 2 vehicles are plugged in and requesting power. When one stops needing power it will split it 32amps/8amps. Not entirely sure why, but it works well for my setup.
State of charge did a review of it if you’re...
EA in CT is really spotty. If you’re traveling up 95 and you need a charge in CT I highly recommend their Stratford location. It is the latest generation with 8 stalls. Typically they’re all working and putting out good power.
i traveled to Maine from CT recently, but elected not to use the...
Got the update recently. Am happy to report that I misunderstood the release notes and that drive cam will totally work for the things I was hoping for. Thanks all for letting me know that I was misunderstanding it!
Likely very dependent on where you live and the states of the stations near you. I live in CT and the one closest to me has 4 dispensers, 3 of which are severely de-rated (50kw max). Another station in New Haven has one down and the other 3 de-rated. The one in Stratford has 8 dispensers all...
Totally agree that drive cam can work for the situations I used to use the Tesla version for, but only if it recorded continuously. If I’m reading it correctly, it looks like it stops recording when the drive is full. I guess I just need to be on top of emptying it out.. ?‍♂️
I get it that not...
It’s hard because I don’t know when I’ll need it. And it sounds like full time recording will just stop when the drive is full. That could be a good solution if they would just delete the old footage when the drive was full to make room for the new footage. Essentially allowing for the last X...
Am I reading this correctly? Incidents only occur when you hard brake or do a few other alarming things? And then it only catches the previous 15 seconds?
i don’t want to be a Debbie downer, but this is a bit disappointing. Maybe I’m missing something, but when I had my Tesla I used the dash...
