I think you hit the nail on the head and the levels need adjusting. At this point in EV production there are simply not enough at $40k to choose from. Additionally $100k is really not all that much.
It would be in the $3.5T budget bill. It would still need to go through the house and still needs to be in the final approved budget bill. It’s no where near final but it did get bipartisan support in the Senate with 3 democrats approving and 1 Republican voting against.
Non-binding amendment added to Senate budget bill which would drastically alter tax credit. Not official changes at this point, but something to watch.
