Hey @Bf3, where do you apply your sealant? I was one of your early "DIY" followers, and I get some leakage that runs down the sides I think. I'm not sure if there's a good fix, but if you apply your sealant somewhere, maybe that'll help with my issue too...
Why does everybody say you need to push down on them to lock? I've never done that. You set them in, and get the preliminary latch, but it's still loose. Then you just close the lock cover, and when you push it closed it latches the second latch. Is that not how everybody else's crossbars...
They listed NIRVANA at 1000 horsepower, at least this one they're listing at the 800 that Rivian specs, but they're still saying 300 mile range, with 38" tires and a lift, they're definitely dreaming with that build. Just seems really dishonest as a practice. I'm not a fan of their business.
Made by the same people that made that "NIRVANA" monstrosity I believe. I think they're getting salvage trucks and rebuilding... Also, they seem to have a weird fascination with spray-on bedliner... The green truck seemed to be entirely coated in it, and this one they've done all the...
We've got a Diono Radian 3RXT (https://store.diono.com/radian-3rxt-safeplus/) that has been flipped to forward facing behind the driver, and a Clek Fllo (https://clekinc.com/collections/convertible-seats/products/fllo?variant=12202828693579) that's still rear facing behind the passenger.
The...
I've also got a couple of the Costco COHO 55qt coolers
They fit nicely, even with the BestEVMod bed mat in there. I pulled the rubber feet off of the one we use the most and sealed up the holes so that it would slide on the bed mat a little nicer, but it fit with the feet on.
a couple things... make sure it's locked in (do this from the screen)
try both resets: Page 217 is the start of Camp Speaker stuff https://assets.rivian.com/2md5qhoeajym/530xs9hu11xOKefT2JrvA5/1fd5a8dfa086edb51ac83b4700d44aa7/r1t-og-en-us-20231204.pdf
I do it all the time (no tent, just the crossbars) but if you make sure to remove the stud first it's relatively simple. The tire isn't light, but if you can pull it out with the stud and the door fully open, you should be able to pull it out without the stud in there...
I would say the Gear Tunnel, because it's so different and novel, and while I use it a lot, I have to say the best thing about my R1T is the versatility. I can drop it in sport mode for a swift 'jaunt' around on the freeways, and then pump it up in off-road mode 30 seconds after leaving the...
The hardest part will be finding an offset that matches on a rim. Rivian uses a +48 offset, and there are few (none?) non-rivian-specific aftermarket wheels with that offset. You'll also want to ensure that any rim you get clears everything appropriately. Even some 20" wheels won't work, as...
