I’m considering upgrading to the A1 with the AMS. I wonder though do you have any issues with moisture and PTEG sitting in the AMS. Does it cause issues sitting in your (probably more humid) basement?
Did you already have PETG in all those colors? If not, that’s one expensive Gary!
I’m thinking about going in on Bambu’s anniversary sale and upgrading to an A1 with a 4 color AMS unit. And then I see you printed Gary with 5 colors! Arghh! :)
What are you all seeing for voltage? I'm seeing 3.2V which doesn't seem right.
My battery capacity @ 128.8 seems lower than most here, showing a theoretical total range of 318.6 miles. That's with all seasons.
The price for Rivian rings is the price listed on CNICK's website + a $20 fee for using an existing keycard to make the ring.
CNICK confirmed they're in the process of reaching out with an order link to everyone who filled out the web form.
Cloning isn't possible. NFC devices in general can be cloned but Rivian's keycards use some type of encryption that can't be copied. Someone tried it long ago and reported about it on this forum.
Key cards aren't expensive. Service quoted me $70 for a new keycard programmed to my truck. Of...
I don’t know for sure. I assume the cost on the website is the same for both Tesla and Rivian rings. The least expensive options are $120.
I’ll ask them and reply once I hear back.
For the last several weeks I’ve had the good fortune of being able to test the first Rivian ring key in the market. It’s made by CNICK (teslaring.com), who appear to have been making rings for Tesla for some time. They make the rings (I think) by dissolving the plastic around the chip and...
How different is the new Rivian version from what came stock on the Taco? Are the reviews still valid (positive or negative) or are there enough differences that this should be considered a brand new tire?
The new update showed up on electrafi last night - meaning the first public vehicles have received it. Typically this has been former and current employee vehicles that were in the early access beta program. We should hopefully see it start rolling out to the masses next week.
Edit: Jinx...
Don’t forget the yellow calipers on the quad. Those are worth at least $5k!
I have a 2022 quad R1T. I’m totally happy with it and its ride quality. One thing I’d worry about would be what the 2022 demo has been used for. Was it a showroom truck with thousands of butts in the seat? That alone...
I kind of think you’re just playing us now.
That’s what the batteries look like. https://www.rivianforums.com/forum/threads/what-i-learned-from-my-12v-battery-swap.13739/
As someone with 4 21” rims sitting in his garage, who the heck wants to buy these? :(
I bought new TPMS sensors for my 20” Atomics thinking that the 21s might be worth something when more tire options appeared. Now that they’re discontinued, I feel like I might as well give them to the metal...
As a point of reference, I'm at 32k miles on my June 2022 R1T. I've had the blended regen setting on since it appeared in the update. Here are my rear pads - very little wear and even thickness on both sides. I live in Kansas City so not an extreme environment. I did not regrease the pins as the...
I have the 275/65R20 Michelin LTX Platinums on Atomic AW09s. I came from the 21” wheels.
They’re ok. The weight is definitely noticeable. My suspension is way nosier, like when driving <30 in my neighborhood or in a parking lot. I don’t notice at speed though. Acceleration “feels” slower - like...
