Letās see, I would agree but I have not heard of any folks from Calgary with a pre-2024 delivery date - ofcourse doesnāt mean it hasnāt happened. I am in Toronto and was given July-Sept date for LE R1S
I think I speak for the entire forum when I say that there is zero chance of you receiving a vehicle next year if you just placed a reservation request for an R1S now. There may not be a strong chance for us Launch Edition preorder holders from 2018/2019 to receive ours next year either. Temper...
This is cool. What is the best way to look for plans in Ontario? Tried Vaughan and Torontoās websites to see if any permit application hits with keyword āRivian.ā No luck, but could just that there are no applications submitted.
My take is the CS person was simply parroting back the July-Sept timeline that was given to us LE holders last year that was debunked a few weeks ago. Also, i am not sure they would need another employee program for Canada after the robust one in the US with thousands of customer deliveries...
How incorrect this information is would be funny if it wasnāt so sad. Surprising how poorly informed CS is. First deliveries are scheduled for Dec 2022 for those in Vancouver area
That is a narrow window. Seems like they are confident on that one. Our countrymen is BC will be the first to get their vehicles, likely following by Quebec based on some reports here.
Ontario and Alberta seem to be in same boat at this point - wide windows, code for āwe have no clueā. At least...
Requiring service infrastructure, including centres and mobile fleets as a prerequisite for deliveries bodes very poorly for those of us in the Toronto area, as there have been no jobs advertised remotely pertaining to those domains thus far.
I put āLaunch Editionsā to be delivered in the...
Thank you for sharing this response. This is the first Canadian specific information posted anywhere on the internet (trust me, I have checked). I believe it is from the āfirst Canadian Guideā that was posted about a couple months ago.
It also seems like the pricing we got is not necessarily...
the SEC filing that stated as much - goal is to get application for Transport Canada approval by Sept.
Also, check the ? in your account. Do you have a Guide assigned?
I think if there were more of us to make a fuss Rivian would take notice and respond.
Unfortunately I think this probably the quietest corner of this forum.
