Clickbait article after clickbait article. It’s not hard to make something look bad on the internet, especially when motivated by money. Why don’t they do a huge article about the cost savings of commuting in an EV and charging at home? Answer: Negative gets clicks, positive doesn’t.
I have definitely found that in rock crawl mode having hold turned off and using the two foot method is about the best you can do when trying to be smooth. I just did a bunch of trails in Moab and Colorado and it’s a challenge being smooth and only moving an inch or two. I’ve done the rubicon a...
The other thing about pet mode that I hate is that it’s not available below 50 miles of range even if you are plugged in and charging. When towing that means I have to sit in the truck to keep the hvac going until it charges up to ~25%, then I can turn it on and go in the store. Dumb.
It’s kinda comical really. Squeaks and rattles caused by a defect are fixed, but……. What?………the ones that are designed into the vehicle aren’t. if they’ve been designed into the vehicle we should be able to get a list of them from engineering.
Took mine in for this and they are going to replace both front dampers. Also they have a fix for the wheezy squeak over speed humps, some kind of damper oil line now with a reservoir.
The gear tunnel is surprisingly longer than the bed. I have a gazelle gazebo that fits easily in the gear tunnel but has to be diagonal to fit in the bed.
So let me get this straight…you forgot your fob, then left your phone (PAK) and wallet in the vehicle, didn’t close the door, didn’t lock the vehicle, and then left it unattended and went for something to eat! I’m going out on a limb here and saying you got off easy, this could have gone many...
Experiences vary. I towed my travel trailer Portland to Palm Springs and back (2200 miles) last winter and had a great experience. With good planning and realistic expectations towing with an EV is very easy and pleasant. Maybe you should look at you and your processes and make appropriate...
Where’s the hood and front fender? Are we supposed to believe that it burned hot enough to melt aluminum but not rubber tires? Too much is fishy about this. I’m going with fake or insurance job until more information surfaces.
I have had this happen when towing, but mine was more sporadic and random. I think it has something to do with a poor connection in the 7 pin plug. I’ve been spraying electrical cleaner in the 7 pin and the trailer cord about everything other time I tow and it hasn’t happened since. Also a nice...
I’m sorry that this is happening and I completely understand your frustration. It’s very interesting how different service centers have different processes and customer experience. I’ve heard this enough to know it’s a real problem at many locations, it’s just so completely different from my...
