  1. Can we start waving???

Long time Jeep owner and I always used the peace sign rather than a wave, which is what I still do occasionally with my Rivian. How about ?, haha. I don't think it matters, any acknowledgment is cool.
  2. Undocumented Changes in 2025.06

Original 34" tires, assume car should be programmed for 34" tires Swap to 33" tires, speedometer before update is 2% fast After update reprogram to 33" tires, car is still 2% fast
  3. Can we start waving???

Worst drivers in the country in FL. Half sit in the left lane under the speed limit because it's "their right" to drive however they please, the other half swerves through traffic with no turn signals. In Colorado we have our own problem, stoned drivers going between 70 and 50 as their attention...
  4. Carwash mode for do-it-yourself carwash

Well yes, if your car is locked and bluetooth off you won't trigger the port. I suspect it's cold weather and with warm water being sprayed. CS confirmed that getting water in the port could cause the issue. So either do what you do, lock the car with bluetooth off, or put it in car wash mode.
  5. Carwash mode for do-it-yourself carwash

No, I called customer service about it and they said water getting in the port could cause this issue.
  6. Undocumented Changes in 2025.06

? Factory tires were Pirelli, 34". Before the update I had 33" tires on, about 3% less in diameter, and the speedometer as expected measured 3% too fast (I didn't do the speedometer test with the 34"). The assumption is the 3% error is because the car is programmed for the 34" tires. Changing...
  7. Undocumented Changes in 2025.06

My speed error is unchanged regardless of which tires I choose. I replaced the factory Perilli 275/65R20s with the Nokian Snow 275/60R20 and using a GPS speed measurement on my phone the speedometer was off by about 3%, when the car says 70 mph the GPS told me 68. I tried both methods above...
  8. Undocumented Changes in 2025.06

Oh, I don't think I caught that. So choose the correct size stock, then aftermarket and it will keep the Goodyear size? Thanks, I'll try that.
  9. Carwash mode for do-it-yourself carwash

That's what I thought too when the port door opened. I did have to open the truck and close it from the screen, then finished up and didn't think anything of it. Freaked out when it wouldn't go into drive mode! Had an appointment to get to so was praying the hard reset would fix it. Plus a guy...
  10. Undocumented Changes in 2025.06

Yup, kinda silly. Assuming in a future update they will allow you to choose Custom then choose from selection of tire sizes... In the meantime my 275/60R20 Nokian Snows are Goodyear All Seasons :(
  11. 2025.6 Performance Upgrade - anyone successfully purchase & install?

Oh, yay! Rally Mode is included in the latest update for my Dual Max Gen2 R1T without needing to purchase the Performance upgrade! Awesome ?
  12. Carwash mode for do-it-yourself carwash

Thought I'd post this for others who didn't know this. I've taken my R1T to the full service carwash multiple times and have used carwash mode but yesterday for the first time took it to one of those do-it-yourself carwashes with the sprayers and wands, etc. I didn't think i really needed to put...
  13. 2025.06 Update Release Notes

Couple of first impressions: EXTREMELY HAPPY that Rally Mode is included for my Dual Max AT Gen2 R1T!!! I'm leasing and was not going to upgrade to Performance because of the price but was pining for the Rally Mode as most of my off-roading is on Colorado dirt trails not really rock crawling...
  14. 2025.6 Performance Upgrade - anyone successfully purchase & install?

I'm leasing but if I were buying I would probably do it for Rally Mode. The 1.1 sec improvement in 0-60 would be fun but not necessary, I can't really use the existing acceleration with my wife in the car anyway :(
  15. When will Rivian get CarPlay? Need better Nav and hands free text

More Rivian Navigation failures: In Breckenridge and I70 in Colorado for about 45 minutes Navigation had my location off by up to 1/2 a mile, telling me to turn on roads that weren't there. My iPhone navigation knew exactly where I was. In Denver driving to a location it tried to route me ~1/2 a...
  16. Toyo Open Country A/T III EV Tires (LT275/65R20) - Fantastic (Review & Efficiency Stats)

This seems very promising. I was getting a little under 2 for the brief time I had my Pirellis on in October. I'm already noticing my numbers going up as the weather warms up this spring with my Nokian snows. Wasn't there another post that showed the range on the SLs being not very good?
  17. Yakima FatCat Mount installed

if you order the bolts that slide into the slot you really don't need spacers, IMO, the plastic on the bottom of the rack just sits on the cross-bar. It's a little higher on one side than the other but I don't think that makes a difference.
  18. Yakima FatCat Mount installed

Agree with @babock putting skis in the truck bed is not ideal. My skis have to be put in diagonally to fit, leaving little room for luggage or gear in the bed, and also as babok said, the edges and tops are more likely to get scratched with multiple skis in there. We have both all-mountain and...
  19. Toyo Open Country A/T III EV Tires (LT275/65R20) - Fantastic (Review & Efficiency Stats)

People on here have said the SLs would not be able to tow, but they are the same rating as the Pirellis and I talked to RIvian CS about this specifically and they said the truck will have it's full towing capability with the Pirellis or same rated tire. I currently only pull a 3500 lb Bambi so...
